Negotiation Skills in Diplomacy
The training in summary:
In a fast-paced world, practitioners of international relations face a complex array of challenges in conducting effective diplomacy. How to approach negotiation in a dynamic context of multiple state and non-state actors is one of those challenges. We believe that diplomatic negotiation are not an art, endowed to the privileged few, but a skill that can be learned by anyone.
Our various training modules mix theory, small-scale practice and large multiparty simulations to achieve optimal impact for participants. In our design, learning goes well beyond the individual. We create learning products that "live onwards" in the institutions we train so negotiation skills become part of their core competencies.
To maximise learning, we usually deploy both senior former practitioners and professional negotiation instructors in the same training programme. The duration and content of our Negotiation Skills in Diplomacy training is tailor-made to the client's needs.
